Giuseppe Rossi’s agent, Andrea Pastorello, expressed his dissatisfaction at his client’s lack of playing time but underlines that there is no rift between him and Paulo Sousa.
In an exclusive interview with FirenzeViola.it, Pastorello said,:
“My brother Federico and I went to the meeting to talk about the upcoming transfer window, which was the main reason behind our visit. We wanted to understand what clubs want in the market and when talking with Fiorentina it was impossible for us not to talk about Giuseppe Rossi. To become an important player again he needs to find his form but to do this he needs continuity. It’s absolutely not a major problem or anything like that, but it’s hard for him to show how good he is when he’s not playing. Obviously, we respect Sousa’s decisions and never talk about them, especially now that Fiorentina are doing really well. Like every player, he’d like to play. He’s currently suffering from this but he doesn’t want to read or hear anything that’s being said about him. He would like to become a major player for Fiorentina again but to rekindle his old form, he needs to see the field.”
