Juve to make tactical changes against Udinese?
With Claudio Marchisio suspended and Arturo Vidal to miss out due to a minor injury, Juventus have several solutions in mind for tomorrow’s match against Udinese.
Tuttosport reports that one option under consideration is to keep the 4-3-1-2 formation that has served Juve well this season, with the versatile Simone Padoin joining Pirlo and Pogba in midfield and Pereyra taking the role of trequartista. Another option has Pepe taking the third midfield spot.
Another option would be a temporary return to the 3-5-2 of the past two seasons. Caceres, Bonucci and Chiellini would line up in defense with Lichtsteiner and Evra being brought forward to the wings of a five-man midfield, filled with Pirlo, Pogba and Pereyra as the middle three. Tevez’s spot in the starting lineup is secured, and the decision between Llorente and Morata as his partner remains to be made.

Roma Reach Agreement With Tottenham Hotspur Defender
Roma have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Tottenham Hostpur defender Vlad Chiriches.
The Romanian defender was targeted by the Giallorossi before his move to England in 2013, and looks set to leave the Premier League- where he has not appeared since December.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the 25-year-old has agreed terms with the Lupi, but a deal between the two clubs has not yet been finalised.
This has set the deal in a race against time to be completed, ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline, with Chiriches believed to be Rudi Garcia’s top target as the French coach looks to tighten up his side’s fragile defence.
The Romanian signed for Spurs from Steaua Bucharest, and has to appeared just 29 times in one-and-a-half seasons at the North London club.

Cordoba: Right time for Cuadrado’s Chelsea move
Former Inter defender Ivan Cordoba firmly believes that Juan Cuadrado will succeed at Chelsea and that it could be the right time for the Colombian winger to ply his trade in a new league.
Cuadrado, 26, is on the verge of a €28 million move to Stamford Bridge and Cordoba feels that the tricky winger could thrive in the English Premier League.
“He is a player who has forged a great career and I think the time has arrived for him to show that he is a winner outside of Italy,” the 38-year-old told Radio Sportiva.
“I’m sure that he will do it. He will find a different style of football to that in Italy, it will be more one-on-one and that will help him.
“Most of all, [Jose] Mourinho manages to bring the best out of every player.”

Cassano linked to Inter
Tuttosport reports today that mercurial striker Antonio Cassano wants to move to Inter at any cost.
Cassano had his contract with Parma mutually rescinded last week, and rumors have been flying about his possible destination. Now, Turin daily Tuttosport adds Inter to the mix, claiming that Cassano is willing to take a pay cut in order to join the nerazzurri. The rumored solution, for Cassano and for an Inter in search of a striker after parting ways acrimoniously with Dani Osvaldo, would be a contract until the end of June, with an option to extend through the 2015-16 season. The merry-go-round of strikers seems set to continue until the very last hours of this January transfer window.

Gasperini: Refereeing cost Genoa
Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini has stated that the officiating cost his side the win against Fiorentina on Saturday night.
The Grifone drew 1-1 against Montella’s men at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, and the former Palermo coach was unhappy at the refereeing for Fiorentina’s equaliser, in which he claims was offside.
“I think we played an excellent game,” he told Mediaset Premium. “We were better than Fiorentina; we created more chances and we deserve all three points.
“It is a a shame that the goal we conceded was offside, the team put in an excellent performance.
“Such refereeing mistakes are preventing us from being higher up the table.”
Genoa fans entered the game 10 minutes late on Saturday as a protest against the refereeing in the loss to Napoli on Monday.
