The 20-year-old, who is expected to be out of a contract with the Wasps in June, has caught the attention of several clubs throughout Europe due to his impressive performances in Sweden as of late but is thought to be closest to signing with the Viola after apparently meeting with the Italian side earlier in the campaign to discuss his future.
According to La Nazione, Fiorentina are already in the process of arranging the young talent’s arrival in Florence for the summer and could secure him as their first signing of the market once the current campaign comes to an end.
Reports also suggest the Juventus were ready to enter the race for the midfielder’s signature, though the Turin giants have since chosen to back out based on the youngster’s intent to join the Gigliati instead.
