All has not been well between Nigel De Jong and AC Milan, with reports of contract talks over his renewal having broken down and Juventus monitoring the situation.
Nigel De Jong would be looking for a contract extension from the Rossoneri, but the AC Milan hierarchy have looked hesitant to meet all his demands.
TuttoJuve.com report that De Jong would be looking for a three-year extension worth €3.5 million per season. However AC Milan would have countered his offer with only a two-year extension worth €2.5 million plus bonuses per season.
TuttoJuve.com add that Juventus would be on the prowl should both parties not arrive to a consensus, with the Dutch midfielder’s contract due to expire at the end of the season.
Nigel De Jong has made 15 Serie A appearances for AC Milan, and scored two goals.
