The 23-year-old jointed the Partenopei from Sampdoria during the last transfer window and replaces Michu in the squad, however fellow January signing Ivan Strinic isn’t included as he has already played in the competition with Dnipro.
Elsewhere, long-term absentee Lorenzo Insigne is still included, but given he is the only player produced by Napoli’s academy, Rafa Benitez only has 22 of a potential 25 players available.
Napoli face Trabzonspor in the Round of 23 of the Europa League. The first-leg takes place on February 19 at the Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium, with the second-leg at the Stadio San Paolo on February 26.
