Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne has said that he wants to become a legend at the Partenopei.
The 23-year-old, who has recently returned to training after sustaining a ligament damage in early November, spoke about his ambitions with the club.
“I want to become a Napoli legend n order to show my respect for the club,” he told TuttoNapoli.
The Italian international then went on to praise teammate Gonzalo Higuain, stating that he wishes the Argentine finishes top scorer in Serie A.
“Higuain is a great striker,” he said. “I hope he scores lots of goals to help the team, and allow him to finish top scorer in Serie A.”
Insigne has scored 15 goals and made 23 assists in 105 appearances for the Neapolitans.
