In Chievo’s away win against Parma, Zukanovic’s brilliant free-kick proved the difference and the only glimmer of quality in an overall quiet and drab match.
The defender briefly spoke about his goal after the game, but focused on the job ahead in Chievo’s upcoming game against Sampdoria.
“I am happy for the team, it is a big win,” Zukanovic said to Sky Sport Italia.
“But Sunday will be a challenge and this victory will be a boos for it.
“Personally, I’m happy with what I have done and the goal; but I would rather not talk much about it because Sunday [against Sampdoria] can change everything.”
The Bosnian defender arrived at Chievo on loan from Gent, with his winner against Parma being his first for the Flying Donkeys.
