The Aquile fell to a surprise 2-1 defeat to relegation contenders Cesena on Sunday, but Cataldi says the season is long, and there is time to make up ground on Napoli.
“We have now forgotten about the trip to Cesena and we are now preparing for the challenge on Monday against Genoa,” Cataldi told Lazio Style Radio.
“It will be a hard-fought game because they are in good shape physically. They will put us in great difficulty.
“Race for third place? The championship is still very long. We are there, facing game after game, then we’ll see how far we can get.”
