New Sassuolo signing Anastasios Donis has revealed that he’s looking forward to learning a lot during his time at the club and hopes to get on the same skill level as team-mates Simone Zaza and Domenico Berardi.
The 18-year-old completed his loan move to the Neroverdi from Juventus for the remainder of the season on February 2 and he admits that he’s excited to now be a part of such an important team where he has the chance to mature into a stronger player.
Donis recently spoke during his press conference reveal about his arrival at Sassuolo and the new journey that lies ahead of him, while also expressing the admiration he feels for coach Eusebio Di Francesco and his new team-mates.
“I am very glad that I came here to Sassuolo,” said the Greek youngster. “I have the opportunity to work with one of the best coaches and a lot of really strong players.
“I will try to learn as much from all of them as I can, I’m happy because I have now found myself at a very important team.
“I’ve watched Berardi and Zaza, young players like me who managed to grow up a lot during their time here and I hope to get on their level.”
