After it was found out that Felipe along with a number of Parma players had not been paid their due wages, the Brazilian terminated his contract with the club.
“The Parma situation became so absurd that I could no longer bear it,” Felipe said in an interview to Messagero Veneto.
“It was not just the financial issue, but it refers to everything that was said and promised from June.
“We don’t even understand the whole situation yet.
“When I signed to have my contract terminated, the president did not even show up.”
Felipe has since returned to Udinese while he looks for a new club.
