It’s been a injury hit couple of years for Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi
Injuries have taken their toll on him which restricted his playing time more than someone can imagine.
Still uncertain of the date of return on the field, Giuseppe Rossi spoke to Sky Sport 24 in an interview to shed light on his return from injury.
“I have a lot of desire to be back on the field, but this is obvious, I will not assume any fix date regarding my return, I do not want to take part in a race, I want to take it with confidence and get back when I’m 100%.”
“With the sacrifices you make, this is the lesson that I received, because, just when I was young, my family has sacrificed a lot to me so that I can achieve my dreams. Injuries are part of the game and I do not want to see it coming back.”
The attacker hopes to be in the match against Juventus on 29th of April:
“Yes, I saw that date, it would be nice to play a game which is so prestigious. But, I repeat, no run, now I just have to think about work.”
On departure of crucial player, Juan Cuadrado:
“We sold a great player, it is true, but we also saw the arrival of Diamanti, the match on sunday was instrumental in bringing home the three points. And there is also Salah, who did very well when he entered against Atalanta. We are happy, now we have to keep fighting, “
said Rossi, whose return is awaited by Montella and all Fiorentina fans.”
On Mario Gomez’s goal: Beppe Rossi had good words for the German forward.
“Currently Fiorentina is fine, goals from Gomez are really important for him and the team, if he deserved the goal then it is because he is a friend, a talent and a good person.”
