Chievo beat Sampdoria 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to secure their second win in just five days, pushing themselves further clear of the relegation zone and Hetemaj knows how important Sunday’s win could prove to be.
“Sampdoria are a really good side and to win against them is a good sign,” Hetemaj told Sky Sport Italia after the game.
“We played three days ago and on Wednesday it was a game in which we struggled heavily.
“We have 24 points and we have to continue like this, we have the right attitude and we have shown it both this season and in the past.
“We have many good players at the club and for us to have these guys pushing so hard is important.”
