Following the 2-2 draw against Juventus, Cesena striker Franco Brienza spoke regarding the point for his squad.
“We are happy, stopping Juventus always brings great satisfaction for us. We had a great performance” Brienza told Mediaset.
Brienza played the entire 90 minutes and his volley in the 70th minute put them level with Juve. “I am happy I scored, but I think that Juve played below their capability” he said. “We did well to pick up our pace and put the bianconeri in trouble.”
Asked if avoiding relegation is still possible, Brienza responded, “We are delighted to stop a great team, it is a point for us that gives enthusiasm for the future.”
Finally, Brienza responded when asked if he would want to play for a large Club like Juve, “I am happy in my career. I’ve reached Serie A after much hard work.”
