The 30-year-old forward rejoined the Bianconeri on loan from AC Milan until the end of the season after Massimiliano Allegri opted to sign Matri on transfer deadline day.
“It’s great to be back at Juve and see so many old friends,” he revealed in a video published on Juventus’ official website.
“I am happy to be here and to be able to help Juventus, I have come into a strong squad full of spectacular players.
“I was so fond of the squad when I left, they had the will to win, there were so many great friendships.
“On the pitch we were 22 to 24 lions and off the pitch we were all friends.”
Matri previously spent three seasons with the Bianconeri and won two Serie A titles with the club before Milan completed his signature for €11 million in 2013.
