Mauricio Isla seems to be very excited that he has left Juventus.
The Chile fullback spent last summer at Queens Park Rangers on Loan, and he doesn’t regret the choice, even thought the London side is struggling heavily. He began speaking to London Evening Standard: “Much has been said about my decision to leave Juventus for QPR, and I was told it was the wrong choice.”
Isla continued: “They asked ‘why did you leave a club who fights for the title in order to move to a side fighting for salvation?’. I was positive though, I wanted to play in the Premier League. I’m very happy to play in this league, which is extremely competitive. Any team can beat the other, no matter where they sit in the standings. You never know what will happen here, and I’m very happy to be the underdog, it’s exciting.”
