Paul Pogba reportedly missed training today and is undergoing medical evaluations for a thigh strain.
The decision to keep Pogba out of training was described as “precautionary” and a prognosis will be made tomorrow after more extensive tests. Juventus have the right to be concerned, however, after a similar injury has sidelined Andrea Pirlo for an estimated twenty days. With next Monday’s match against Roma still a critical one in the path to the Scudetto and the return leg of the Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund looming in the near distance, a depleted midfield is the last thing the bianconeri want to see.
