New Juventus signing Stefano Sturaro has expressed his delight and wonder at joining the Bianconeri, positive that the atmosphere and players will help him live up to this new challenge.
Sturaro had been previously purchased from Juventus in the summer and then sent on loan to Genoa. The Bianconeri have opted to call the 21-year-old back early however, in order to further boost their midfield options.
Sturaro has already trained with his new teammates, and spoke afterwards in an interview for Juventus’ official website about his delight at being in Turin.
“The first training session went well … I’m excited and happy,” said Sturaro to Juventus.com.
“I cannot wait to get started and I plan on giving it my all. I did it at Genoa and want to do the same here.
“This team is made up of so many different kinds of players and I plan on learning from all of them.
“The strength and quality of the midfield here is better [than in Genoa] of course but I want to work hard.
“After seeing it on television, I look forward to playing at the Juventus stadium as a Bianconero; it is a fantastic stadium and the kind of arena that helps you do well in every game.”
