AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi has qualified he has the full backing of club owner Silvio Berlusconi.
The legendary Rossoneri striker has come under fire for his side’s recent poor performances in Serie A.
Speaking to the press ahead of the weekend tie with Lazio the Milan boss spoke about his immediate future.
“The president calls twice a day during the week. He’s close to the team during this difficult time,” he began.
With just five points from five games, Inzaghi will be under pressure to beat Lazio on Saturday evening.
“All games are decisive for me. We are in difficult period but we can get out of it,” Inzaghi continued.
“When I work and know that the club and the team are behind me, it gives me great confidence.
“Criticism makes me stronger. I enjoyed being a player, my players should do the same.”
Milan won the reverse fixture at the Stadio Olimpico 3-1 on the first day of the season.
