Mattia Destro came to Milan today, greeted by fans upon his arrival
The previous Roma striker has been dominating headlines today and Galliani spoke with the press to offer his own thoughts on Destro.
“I was pleasantly surprised to see so many people for Mattia. I did not expect it.” Galliani said in regards to the number of fans waiting for Destro at the train station. “I’m happy and that enthusiasm is important, but I hope that soon turns to positive results.”
Galliani also noted that Pazzini will remain with the Club. He spoke on other players as well, saying, “For Armero, we have an agreement with Genoa, but for now the player does not accept the negotiation, and Antonelli does not fall within that negotiation.” Regarding Niang, Galliani mentioned, “He is a player of Genoa and will be for the next six months. We all hope he does well with the Rossoblu.” Most notably, Galliani said to media that Milan’s inbound market is now closed.
Destro offered a brief statement following a warm welcome from Milan fans saying, “The only thing that matters is that I am here and I want to start working right away. I am very happy to be at Milan. I am struck by this enthusiasm!”
