Juventus are reportedly looking to land star Porto striker Jackson Martinez during the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has drawn the attention of numerous clubs throughout Europe for quite some time now due to his impressive showings with the Dragons, with teams including Roma, Liverpool and Arsenal all apparently hoping to secure his services in the near future, and it seems like the Bianconeri are ready to enter the fight for his signature as well.
According to Sport Mediaset, Juventus would be interested in signing the Colombian international as an alternative to Carlos Tevez for the 2015-16 season with plans to have the Porto man eventually take the Argentine’s place, should he decide to leave the Turin giants as expected once his contract expires in June 2016.
Martinez, whose current contract with the Portuguese side is set to run out in June 2017, has scored 10 goals and provided one assist in his 13 league appearances this season thus far.
