22 year old Marco Sportiello took over the number one spot at Atalanta at the start of this season after previous keeper Andrea Consigli moved on to pastures new in the shape of Sassuolo.
The Dea announced today through there website that Sportiello, who has played 18 times in Serie A this campaign, has signed pen to paper on a new contract that will run to 2019.
The keeper will also continue to wear his unique number 57 on the back of the Nerazzurri jersey.
