Sky Sports reports that the hubbub surrounding Udinese forward Luis Muriel’s proposed move to Sampdoria is nearing its end, with the clubs close to reaching an agreement for the Colombian.
The fee for Muriel would be around €10 million, with another €2 million in bonuses. There are only a few small details to iron out before the Udinese man would be allowed to move to Sampdoria, joining Samuel Eto’o as the newest additions to a Sampdoria preparing for life after Gabbiadini.
Muriel has been featured sparingly by Udinese boss Andrea Strammaccioni, making just five starts this season. He has not found the net in Serie A since February of last year.
