Duvan Zapata Napoli 2 Empoli 2 Napoli have reportedly turned down several offers for sought after striker Duvan Zapata in recent days as they remain focused on keeping him for the remainder of the season.

The 23-year-old, whose current contract with the Partenopei is set to expire in June 2018, has become the main target of a number of clubs throughout Italy and Europe, with teams like Torino having been interested in him since the summer, though it seems like the Azzurri aren’t looking to let him go any time soon.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, European clubs FC Twente, Shakhtar Donetsk and Olympiacos have all contacted the Neapolitan side in recent days in hopes of beginning negotiations for the Colombian only to have their proposals immediately shot down by Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Zapata, who arrived at the San Paolo outfit from Estudiantes in 2013, has scored four goals in his 10 Serie A appearances this season thus far and holds an estimated market value of around €8 million.
