Roma aiming to land Torino defender in June

Bruno Peres - Torino Roma are reportedly aiming to land Torino defender Bruno Peres at the end of the 2014-15 campaign.

The 24-year-old, whose current contract with the Granata is set to expire in June 2017, has been heavily linked with a move to the Giallorossi in recent weeks but is expected to finish out the season in Turin, with the capital city club apparently preparing to restart negotiations for him in the summer.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Torino president Urbano Cairo has turned down Roma’s previous advances to secure the Brazilian’s services during the January transfer window, though he may be willing to let the right-back make his exit come June.

It’s also believed that the former Santos man’s agent has arrived in Italy to discuss the future of his client with Il Toro and reports suggest that he could make contact with the Lupi as well.

Peres, who joined Torino from Santos in June 2014 for a fee of around €2 million, has scored one goal and provided three assists in his 16 Serie A appearances this season thus far.
