Bad news for Inzaghi, who’s losing two more important defenders in the form of Zapata and De Sciglio. Announced via Milan’s official team website, the two footballers, exited early during the game against Sassuolo in the Coppa Italia, the two will have to be out for a few weeks.
“AC Milan announces that today there have been more medical exams on the players Mattia De Sciglio and Cristian Zapata. De Sciglio has contracted plantar fasciitis to his right foot. For Zapata, we confirm a fracture at the base of the second metatarsal bone in his right foot. The two players will undergo reevaluations over the course of the next few weeks”
