West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Fiorentina defender Marcos Alonso during the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old former Real Madrid player has featured regularly for the Viola in Serie A this season, but could be tempted back to England.
The Daily Mail are reporting new West Brom boss Tony Pulis is an admirer of the Spanish full-back and would be interested in taking him to The Hawthorns.
Fiorentina could be persuaded to part with the former Bolton Wanderers and Sunderland player, either on loan or as a permanent transfer, if the deal is acceptable for all parties involved.
Alonso has made 19 appearances this season, helping the Gigliati challenge for a European berth under Vincenzo Montella.
