Sampdoria remain optimistic about completing the transfer for the 23 year old Colombian international despite him failing the medical.
Sampdoria and Udinese officials are still working on finalizing the deal that would bring the talented Muriel to Sampdoria.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Sampdoria and Udinese are working to find a solution for each party. The clubs would revise the initial deal that was agreed upon by all parties involved however, it could be days before a solution is reached.
Sampdoria and Udinese clearly want to ensure this deal goes through as Muriel has been a headache for Udinese for a few reasons advertised. Muriel doesn’t want to stay put either so the deal still looks very much in tact but the details of the initial agreement could be changed.
