AC Milan chasing Tottenham Hotspur forward

Roberto Soldado Tottenham AC Milan are interested in bringing in Tottenham Hotspur misfit Roberto Soldado on a loan deal with the possibility of signing the player in the summer.

The 29-year-old has endured a difficult time in the English Premier League since joining from Valencia in 2013 for around €33 million and coupled with the emergence of youngster Harry Kane this season the Spaniard has found himself down the pecking order once again.

A report in the Daily Mail claimed that Milan held initial discussions over a potential loan move for the Valencia native on Monday, however Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is not interested in any loan deal and is only willing to sell the player outright.

Soldado has made just six Premier League starts this season, with an additional six appearances from the bench and has found the net just once. In his first season with Spurs he managed a paltry six league goals, four of which came from the penalty spot.
