Hellas Verona’s veteran striker Luca Toni has commented on his future at the club. The Italian striker, 37, took part in the press conference ahead of the Verona derby.
“The president has to make the most important choices for the club. I will continue here if there are the conditions that have allowed me to do well here at Verona for these past two seasons.
“Let’s see what will happen after certain decisions have been made, and then we will be able to evaluate the situation comfortably.
The striker turns 38 this month, but he has no plans on quitting football anytime soon. “When you score 18 goals in Serie A, it means you’re still able to compete with the best.
“I do not want to quit playing football yet.”
