.Juventus’ Director of Sport Giuseppe Marotta spoke to Sky Sport on the future and the upcoming mercato.
With rumors circling around about a possible bid for Edinson Cavani and Sami Khedira, Marotta was quizzed about a possible approaches for the players.
“We haven’t made any attempts for Cavani, there isn’t any active talks. We’ve approached many players, but Cavani is a PSG player, and I don’t believe that we can start up talks”
When asked about a possible free transfer of Sami Khedira, Marotta admitted, “Juventus is now claiming the attention of many players, it’s returned to the forefront of clubs, but now we’ve learned from newspapers that he won’t renew and we’ll evaluate the upcoming opportunity”.
