Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has commented on his side’s Semi Final first-leg victory over Spanish giants and reigning Champions League holders, Real Madrid.
“We have come a long way, as we made a bad start to our Champions League campaign, it wasn’t easy.
“But we overcame all that and we showed that against Real [Madrid].
The Italian international played a vital role in midfield against ‘Los Blancos’ on Tuesday night and he believes that it wasn’t just a fluke victory, but that his side can go on and advance to the Champions League final.
“We will go to Madrid with our character and the desire in order to reach the final.
“This Juventus side has grown so much since promotion, we have come very far.”
