Italian champions, Juventus, met with Monaco to discuss the availability of their Spanish striker ,Fernando Llorente,among other things. Both parties are willing to negotiate a deal.
Today, Juventus returned to Monte Carlo but this time it wasn’t for football. The bianconeri touched down in France in order to take care of some business regarding the transfer window. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Monaco are interested in acquiring Fernando Llorente from Juventus and have already contacted the player’s club prior to the meeting. Despite Juventus’ denial that the meeting even took place, there is a good chance it happened. However, the outcome of the meeting remains to be seen.
Juventus, on the other hand, are keen on Monaco forward, Anthony Martial. With that being said, a swap deal remains unlikely at this moment and time and talking about it is a bit premature. Over the next few weeks, the dialogue between both clubs is expected to intensify and may end with a deal being struck.
