Torino continues to search for a regista, or deep lying midfielder. The first choice was Mirko Valdifiori, but with Napoli making their way onto the scene, it’s pushed the Granata further away.
Now, the President of Torino, Umberto Cairo is looking at Napoli playmaker Jorginho, who’s currently in a co-ownership deal between Napoli and Hellas Verona. Napoli’s President Aurelio De Laurentiis doesn’t seem like he’s intending on buying out the 24 year old midfielder, and could make a return to Verona, then be sold to a third club. Cairo is pressing for a deal of €5 million to give his coach Ventura a playmaker that he requested.
