Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah was lethal for Fiorentina after his loan move from Chelsea. However, sources have the 23-year old on A.C. Milan’s radar
A standout performer in the second half of the Serie A season, the former Basel winger proved that Chelsea picked the wrong attacker when they swapped the 23-year old Mohamed Salah, plus cash, for Juan Cuadrado. After being arguably the best player for Fiorentina from his arrival until the conclusion of the season, the Egyptian has another club from Italy on his tail.
According to Sky, the rossoneri are interested in Salah as an alternative to main target Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Along with Salah, the club is also chasing the signature of 20-year old Croatia international Marko Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb. Also a winger, Pjaca has a valuation in the region of €10-12m.
Being as it will be difficult to bring back Ibrahimovic, it is no surprise that the club is being linked with several alternatives which has been the trend over these past few weeks after the arrival of Bee Taechaubol.
Salah, after moving to the viola in January, was a sparkplug for Montella as they progressed deep into the Europa League. The Chelsea-owned footballer made 16 league appearances for Fiorentina, bagging six goals while assisting three.
