Zdenek Zeman has decided to leave Italy, but he won’t venture too far to the north.
Zeman has opted to sign for promoted Swiss side Lugano, which is located just over the border from Italy’s Lombardy region.
In a statement on the club’s official website, they announced the deal.
“Zdenek Zeman will coach Lugano in the Super League which starts in the middle of July. The agreement between the coach of Czechoslovakian origins and the Bianconero club was reached on Sunday afternoon in Rome with President Renzetti. The definitive details will arrive Wednesday when Zeman and his staff make their way to Lugano.”
