Today, Juventus completed the signing of Porto’s highly-rated left back Alex Sandro. The Brazilian is set to take his medical before signing a five-year deal. Here are the financial details of the operation.
Despite the player being on an expiring contract, the Portuguese side got full value for their player. Juventus have agreed to pay Porto €26M for the left back over the next three years. Once the deal is made official, Alex Sandro will become the seventh most expensive signing in Juventus’ history. Here is the official press release,:
“Juventus Football Club S.p.a announces that the agreement with Futebol Clube Do Porto SAD for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Alex Sandro Lobo Silva has been finalized. The consideration for the acquisition is € 26 million payable in 3 financial years.”
The player will shortly put pen to paper on a five-year contract.
