Mario Balotelli has arrived La Madonnina clinic to undergo a medical with Milan one year to the day he left the club to join Liverpool.
The Italian International endured a difficult time with the Merseyside club scoring just three times throughout the season and was heavily criticized for Liverpool’s poor season where they finished 6th.
Now Sinisa Mihajlovic has given “Super Mario” a second chance at the club and CEO of the club Adriano Galliani has admitted “it will be his last chance, and he knows it.”
Speaking to the press at the La Madonnina clinic:
“I’m very happy to have returned to Milan. I’m very motivated, but I don’t have much desire to talk. I have to work hard and that’s it.”
“If I ever imagined returning to Milan? Yes, I have always had Milan in my heart, and I always hoped that I could return.”
“Will I end my career at Milan? I have to work hard and do well this year, and then we will see what happens.” “My physical shape is fairly well at the moment. Now I just want to train with the team.”
The 25-year-old scored 26 goals in 43 games for the Rossoneri and Milan fans will be hoping Mario Balotelli works hard to silence the critics and help Milan return to the top of Italian football.
