After a month of uncertainty surrounding the attacking midfield position at Juventus, the bianconeri opted for Inter’s Hernanes.
For the past few months, Massimiliano Allegri’s side have been heavily linked with moves to a number of top tier trequartistas. From Julian Draxler and Mario Goetze, fans were eager to see the conclusion of this transfer window. In the end, juventini were left underwhelmed by Giuseppe Marotta’s decision as the veteran sporting director signed Inter’s Hernanes. The former Lazio man signed a three-year deal worth €2.7m per season while Juventus will pay the nerazzurri €11m. Had this move come a few seasons back, everyone would have been ecstatic with the Brazilian’s arrival. Now, with the player pushing thirty it remains to be seen to just what level Hernanes can perform at. That said, the player will help the bianconeri in some ways.
