Roma complete the surprise signing of William Vainqueur from Dynamo Moscow
The midfielder was officially announced to be departing the Russian capital on the club’s official website. The Frenchman, leaves Russia after spending only a year in the Russian Premier League.
The official financial details haven’t been released yet, but according to SkySports, the fee should be a €1m loan with the right to buy out at €3.5.
A product from the FC Nantes academy, Vainqueur made the move abroad to Standard Liege in Belgium in 2011 before making the switch to Moscow in 2014.
In his season with the blue side of Moscow, the un-capped French international scored two goals in 41 appearances.
