Juventus Sporting Director Giuseppe Marotta spoke again today regarding the latest on the mercato.
On the imminent arrival of Alex Sandro, Marotta commented: “Yes, the deal can be perfected tonight. The budget after Sandro? It’s not an issue if we’re talking about an investment for the future.
“Like 10 others, we want a big player, but it’s not easy to find one. Regarding Draxler I don’t think there will be any more possibilites. Mkhitaryan? I don’t know if Borussia Dortmund is making him available. Gungodan was an objective, but not doable.
“Cuadrado? He could potentially be on the market. He has different characteristics than what we’re looking for but there’s 10 days left to fill the void in the midfield. We’ll see.”
