Jeremy Menez has suffered an injury that will give some space to the struggling Alessio Cerci, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The basis on this is the good relationship between the player and Sinisa Mihajlovic, meaning it could give more playing time to the ex Torino and Atletico Madrid winger.
Given the surplus of attackers available to the new Rossoneri head coach, playing time could come at a premium for the nearly 10 men in the attack.
Cerci arrived on a two year initial loan plan with an option to buy out from Atletico Madrid. He has since struggled to make his mark in Milan.
