Juventus coach Max Allegri spoke to RaiSport following the Old Lady’s win against Lazio in the Coppa Italia finale.
“It was a wonderful finale, between two teams that play good football. It isn’t easy to get through 3 competitions, it almost never happens in a whole career. It’s been an extraordinary season, now we’re waiting on the last detail: It won’t be, but it was a dry game and now we can bring home this Cup. It wasn’t easy winning the league and it was fundamental to return to winning the Coppa Italia”.
The Season?: “We’ve had many injuries, the guys have worked very hard throughout the year. Winning isn’t simple, the team has demonstrated to have character. It was normal that after 3 years of Conte, the fans were affectionate to the coach. This is a club that’s strongly supported, this helps the coaches and the players”.
The call from Juventus? “If it didn’t come I would probably still be at the sea”.
