Juventus is finally set to bring in their new acquisition in the form of Paulo Dybala
The striker from Palermo could take his medical as soon as Monday, which in turn would be the last step before the deal becoming official.
Today, Palermo’s legal team are expected to meet with the Argentine’s attorneys to clear up the final details, then the papers will be signed. Juventus, who has been hot on his trail since last January, made an offer for him so he could reinforce the team for the second half. However, other Italian teams made offers, such as Milan, who according to Gianluca Di Marzio, offered €36 million plus €4 million in bonuses.
Napoli offered €25 million plus Jorginho, while Inter offered a €34 million sum. However, all the other attempts to snatch Dybala went in vain as the player wanted only Juventus in Italy.
Dybala’s contract with Juventus is at around €8 million with bonuses included. The difficulty of the performance bonuses varies. Juventus will also pay the transfer fee to Palermo over the next 4 seasons. Palermo would also be able to acquire up to €8 million of a future sale.
