Ancelotti and Real Madrid are Set to Part Ways

There’s still a few days left, then the Bernabeu and Real Madrid will say their goodbyes. Carlo Ancelotti, who won Los Blancos their 10th Champions League, isn’t even enough to prolong his stay in Madrid.

On Sunday, a colleague of Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Alessandro Alciato revealed a phone call between Real’s President Florentino Perez and the Italian tactician, in which the Supremo informed Ancelotti of his decision to fire him.

At this point, the future of “Carletto” is unclear, in fact, he may even take a year off from the sport. After the season ends, Ancelotti is going off the grid in the football world, he’s heading over to Vancouver where he will vacation for a few weeks. The idea of stopping for a year to evaluate the most appealing project seems the most realistic at this point.

For Milan fans, it’s not time to get excited about the potential return of Ancelotti. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the idea is at the limits of impossible.

Other strange links to clubs include Barcelona, because Luis Enrique could leave if he completes the treble. Also Bayern Munich is not out of the question.
