After scoring a late goal for Udinese and securing the three points at the home of the champions, Cyril Thereau spoke to the media.
In his post-match interview with Mediaset, the veteran Udinese forward spoke about the importance of the result. The Frenchman told reporters.:
“We struggled a lot in the first half but we did enough to keep them at bay. In the last twenty minutes, however, we were still level at 0-0. Juventus went for the win
and left plenty of spaces to exploit. I’m very happy to have scored in this stadium. It’s always very hard to score here because they have top defender who are also aggressive. In the final stages of the game, we made them run. My goal was really important as it give us the change to start the season with three, big, points.”
