Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci spoke to the media following his side’s surprising defeat at the hands of Stefano Colantuono’s Udinese.
In his post-match interview with Mediaset, the former Bari man told reporters that he was happy with his side’s play and lamented the fact that they couldn’t find the back of the net
“Udinese scored their goal on their first chance of the game. We weren’t clinical enough and at times, our final ball was lacking. If we continue to play with this attitude and hunger, however, we will go far. Now, we will go to Roma knowing that we will come up against a very strong side. We have the characteristics to go there and do well.”
When he was asked what was lacking from today’s game, Bonucci said,:
“The only thing that was missing was the goal. We created a number of chances. Our fitness was surely not lacking as we were in top shape.”
