AC Milan’s €25 million investment for 20 year old Italian defender Alessio Romagnoli has created quite a stir among the Rossoneri faithful.
For a player at such a young age, Romagnoli has been able to rack up many appearances in Serie A. Something which is very rare for a 20 year old defender.
In two seasons in Serie A, Romagnoli has played in 43 official Serie A matches. 13 games with Roma and 30 matches this past season with Sampdoria. During this time, Alessio scored 3 goals from set pieces.
Last season at Sampdoria, Romagnoli only received three yellow cards and was never sent off.
