The first weekend of Premier League football has seen Italian players grab all the headlines for impressive performances for their clubs.
Matteo Darmian was named Man of the match in Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur and fellow Italians Graziano Pelle and Angelo Ogbonna continued the trend for their clubs today.
Graziano Pelle scored his first Premier League goal of the season as Southampton drew 2-2 away to Newcastle.

At the Emirates Stadium Angelo Ogbonna made his Premier League debut for West Ham United as they faced Title contenders Arsenal.
