Palermo coach Beppe Iachini was interviewed by Radio Rai and discussed his team’s 1-0 win over Cagliari and the team’s objectives moving forward.
“We had chances to seal the victory earlier but were unable to. We need to improve in this area. In the first half we made some errors, but overall we merited the victory.”
“It’s too bad we could have had more points during this last phase of the season.” With the win Palermo is in 10th place and out of Europa League contention.
“Our objective is now to get two good results and evaluate some of our youth prospects. It is important to evaluate their growth and see how they improved. We will continue our work with the knowledge that we want to get results.”
