Juventus midfielder, Arturo Vidal sat down for an interview with 24Horas where he spoke of his love for the bianconeri.
Vidal has found the back of the net eight times for Juve in 43 appearances, including four assists. A regular in the Juve line-up, the 27 year old Chilean spoke on many topics, including how much he feels at home in Italy:
“In Torino, I feel at home. People are very warm, just like the Chileans. They greet me in the streets. I could stay in Torino all my life, for my family and for the people who love me so much.
Juventus is one of the best teams in the world. It would be very hard to change teams when I am so happy here.”
Regarding the Champions League, Juventus have advanced to the final and are set to face Barcelona on June 6th. Vidal expressed his excitement about the upcoming match:
“It has been a long time since there was an Italian team in the final. This Juve team is spectacular. After winning the Scudetto, we also want to win the Champions League.”
Speaking to his physical condition, Vidal reassured his fans:
“My knee is one hundred percent. I knew going to the World Cup meant a sacrifice to return to my level, but I had to do it for Chile.”
Finally, looking ahead to the Copa America tournament, Vidal will once again lace-up for his national side.
“I will give my best to Chile. I’m not saying that we will become champions, but we want to make the fans happy with our best performance. We will be competitive and will try to come out as winners.”
